Property data is public record
The property information in our reports (registered owners, purchase prices, transfer history, bond registrations) comes from official Deeds Office records, which are public record in South Africa. We display this data the same way established providers do, with identity numbers masked. Reports are for information purposes only and are not a substitute for professional legal or financial advice.
What we collect about you
When you use PropReport we collect the details you give us (full name, email address, mobile number and your South African ID number), your purchase history, the reports you generate, and basic usage analytics (pages visited, searches made). Because property reports contain personal information, we verify and record the identity of every person who requests one, in line with standard practice for Deeds Office searches and POPIA accountability. We use your details to deliver your reports, manage your credits, provide support, and send you service messages about reports you started but did not finish.
How we protect it
Your data is stored securely, access is restricted, payments are processed by Yoco (we never see your card number), and every report generated is logged for accountability. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
Every marketing message we send includes an opt-out. To have your account or data removed, or to exercise any right under the Protection of Personal Information Act, contact us at hello@lumanaire.co.za and we will action it promptly.
